Lisa See represents a first for us; the first author we have interviewed! Lisa has done so much research about her own Chinese family history and because of that her writing has resonated with readers. Her characters have so much depth and her stories have so much truth because they are infused with knowlege of her own family history. Snowflower and the Secret Fan is her first book to be translated into a feature film and you can expect other of her books to follow. Lisa talks about her own history, translating a book into a script and some interesting facts about the film.
