The annual Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF) (produced by Asian CineVision), celebrates its 34th year in 2011! AAIFF is he nation’s longest-running festival of its kind showcasing independent Asian and Asian-American film and video. This year the festival will be screening notable, award winning feature films including John Sayles’ film Amigo, Ian Gamazon’s Living In Seduced Circumstances, Rosanne Liang’s My Wedding and Other Secrets, Quark Henares’ Rakenrol, Stephane Gauger’s Saigon Electric, Chris Chow’s Strawberry Cliff, Ramona Diaz’ The Learning, S. Casper Wong’s The Lulu Sessions and Christine Yoo’s The Wedding Palace. Along with these are a host of short films! We will be posting interviews with some of the filmmakers, actors and actresses of the feature and short films to give you a taste of the festival and for those in NYC to get excited about attending!
