Asian CineVision announced the line-up of the 35th annual Asian American International Film Festival (AAIFF). For those unfamiliar with AAIFF, they are the longest running Festival in the country devoted to films by and about Asians and Asian Americans. This year festival will feature 50 New York premieres, narrative and documentary features, and shorts from the US and around the world.

The Festival announced Special Presentation Screenings of SHANGHAI CALLING, $UPERCAPITALIST, and KNOTS, and an LGBTQ Cinema Night on Friday, July 27. Other highlights at the Festival include H.P. Mendoza’s I AM A GHOST, Rich Wong’s YES, WE’RE OPEN, Mye Hoang’s VIETTE, Minh Duc Nguyen’s TOUCH and S. Leo Chiang’s documentary film MR. CAO GOES TO WASHINGTON.
