CAPE’s Soiree was a great event with good food (not enough though), sake, great vodka and of course a sea of Asian talent! There were some old friends, new friends, and new faces (we will bring those to readers in the near future). Among the guests we spotted (which dosen’t even begin to scratch the surface of all the famous faces of course) were Sean Afable, Keiko Agena, Lynn Chen, Karin Anna Cheung (with the most stunning dress of the evening), Justin Chon, Mark Dacascos, Amy Hill, Susan Hirasuna, Mye Hoang, Kelly Hu, Carrie Ann Inaba, Tim Kang, Archie Kao, James Kyson Lee, Quention Lee, Won Lee, Simon Li, Bai Ling, Leonardo Nam, Andrew Oh, Amy Okuda, Randall Park, Katee Shean, Shane Yoon, Rick Yune, and of course many more! CAPE’s New Horizon Award was the focus of the evening and it was awarded to Ken Jeong who provide some great laughs and plenty of his earthy, warm personality as he mingled among the guests. The event proved once again that being in Los Angeles is the best place to be if you love the film industry!
