The North American Premiere of Floating Lives on November 6, 2010, included a Q&A session after the film. Hosted by Producer Bill Horberg, it included commentary by Director Nguyen Quang Binh, lead actress Do Thi Hai Yen, and lead actor Dustin Nguyen. This was a great Q&A for a variety of reasons, but what was incredibly touching was to see how this film had such an impact on those involved in the project even after the filming was completed.
We sat down for an extended one on one interview with Nguyen Quang Binh and Do Thi Hai Yen the following day to ask more about the film, the characters and their careers. We will have that for readers later this week!
