Unlike the L.A. Film Festival, HollyShorts knows how to create a film festival as diverse as L.A. and has a “habit” of putting together a selection of great films. That is why their star continues to rises along with the recognition of the festival. There is something for everyone and you can find some of the best short films that are available right now without having to figure out which ones they are! Some of the Asian-American shorts being screened this year we have already seen and there are a few we will be seeing for the first time. We also will be bringing you some interviews from filmmakers (links are provided for those we have interviewed already!) over the next couple of weeks to introduce you to them and their films. Here are some of the films to check out during the festival: 6 Women (Arani Sen), AJUMMA! ARE YOU KRAZY? (Brent Anbe), Benny (Huay-Bing Law), Blood Ties (Ken Ochiai), Break (Ray Pang), Brother Rob (Sofian Khan), Esta Segura Conmigo (Eric Yang), The Man Who Talked To His Light Bulb (Ari Dassa), Me and the Chef (Emily Cho), The Notice (Sonny Saito), Pepper (Kim Noonan), Picture Day (Ken Adachi), SPICE IT UP! (Feodor Chin), and Trixie (Dave Kebo).
