Lisa See’s novel is being brought to the big screen on July 15, 2011. Snow Flower and the Secret Fan is the story of a timeless friendship between two female friends. The film is a China/USA project starring Korean actress Gianna Jun and Chinese actress Li Bing Bing that also includes Asian-American actors Russell Wong and Archie Kao. Another familiar face in the film is Vivian Wu (Joy Luck Club). While there are no formal “red carpet” plans for L.A., we will be keeping an eye out for any events that might bring the cast to Los Angeles, New York or Sydney where we can do some interviews.
