The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival will be featuring 180 films from 20 countries during its festival running from April 28 – May 7, 2011. It will include World Premieres, Sneak Previews, a James Wong Howe Retrospective, and C3 Digital Conference. The festival will kick-off with a premiere of Fast Five on April 28th. Because we are based in L.A., this gives us a great opportunity to tap into filmmakers and actors whose films will be shown at the festival and showcase them to our readers. We are working fast and furious (pun intended) to line up as many interviews as possible before the film festival. If you haven’t already seen our first two interviews with James Huang (Respect, The New Adventures of Johnny Karate & Golden Delicious, Adultolescence) and Fernando Chien (Fast Five), check them out. Then get ready with a month full of interviews all related to films being screened at the festival. Visit their website for compete information and show times here: LAAPFF.
