Everyone stop and look north to our northern neighbor Canada. That is where some comedy/horror has been brewing in a new television series, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. The 13 episode series premiered on September 29, 2010. The series is based on the short film of the same title written by Craig David Wallace and Max Reid, and directed by Wallace.

Todd and the Book of Pure Evil was shot in Winnipeg, Canada and uses fantasy elements, profanity, graphic violence and non-sequitor lines to tell the story about a book that will make your deepest, darkest dreams come true. Anyone who possesses it is unable to resist the temptation to use its power for their own teen-angst fueled desires. Only one horny teenager, Todd, stands between “The Book Of Pure Evil” and the end of the world as we know it (He’s flunking math, but he’ll save our asses).

One of those angst filled teens is Eddie played by artist/actor Norman Yeung. We touched bases briefly with Norman about whether or nor his upcoming schedule would land him in L.A. in the near future. He gives us only a 25% chance of Norman in L.A., but we are still hopeful that we can sit down with him for an interview. In the meantime, you can see the interview we posted earlier (after the release of his film Resident Evil: Afterlife) and we will wait for word of when the series will be avialable outside of Canada.
