Pei-pei Cheng, who is probably best known for her role as “Jade Fox” in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, is a towering figure in the Chinese film industry and has appeared in Hollywood films and in films from all over the world as well. Her most recent Hollywood production is in Jerry Allen Davis’ film Shanghai Hotel. In our interview with Pei-Pei she talks about her film career, working in English language films, and her role in Shanghai Hotel that also stars Hill Harper, Eugenia Yuan and Ron Yuan.
