If you haven’t seen Quentin Lee’s last film, The People I’ve Slept With, then you’ve missed a great film that we covered including a review and interviews with some of the actors. So while those who need to get caught up with this very talented filmmaker do so, the rest can sit back and wait for some coverage of his new film, White Frog, written by mother/daughter writer/producer team Fabienne & Ellie Wen. The film is loaded with some great Asian-American talent, some who we have covered and interviewed before including Harry Shum Jr. and Kelly Hu, and talent you can expect to hear from in the future like the film’s lead actor, Booboo Stewart, Joan Chen and D.B. Wong.

The story is about a High-school freshman, Nick (The Twilight Saga’s Booboo Stewart), who is a neglected teen with mild Asperger’s syndrome. His life is challenged and ultimately changed forever when tragedy hits his family. White Frog is a universal story of the power of family, friendship, and love.

Filming is about to begin and we plan to follow the production through to its premiere! For more information about the film, visit their website here: White Frog
