Sean Michael Afable plays “Joey” in the film Hardflip about a teenager skateboarder Caleb Jones being raised by a single mother who falls ill promoting Caleb to become more responsible and to find the father he never knew. Through the tragedy of his mother’s illness, a street preacher named Ralph and the sudden appearance of his father, Hardflip tells the story of what can happen when we let go of our anger and pain and willingness to forgive those who have hurt us the most.
