The 2nd annual Asians On Film Festival is well underway!  If you haven’t submitted your film yet, don’t worry because the AOF Festival employs a rolling submission system; this means you can submit your film any time throughout the year.

All of the submissions received in a particular quarter of the year (the 2nd quarter concludes on June 30, 2013) are viewed and scored against other entries in the same quarter.  The winning films from each quarter then go on to compete in the yearly “Best Of Asians On Film Festival” event that will take place in early 2014.

For those of you new to the Asians On Film Festival, it’s an extension of AsiansOnFilm.com (which you’re currently on! Hooray!) and its goal is to provide and promote recognition for Asians/Asian Americans who are minorities in their film industries in all aspects of filmmaking, from acting to directing and everything in between.  As an extension of the website, the festival is committed to promotion via news, information, interviews and recognition given by the festival. We hope to show the world talent that otherwise may be missed.

The rules of eligibility for the festival are simple: Asians/Pacific Islanders must be involved in some major aspect(s) of the film project, and the film project’s theme/message must be in accordance with Asians On Film’s mission and goals.

We had some fantastic films at last year’s Asians On Film Festival and look forward to screening more amazing films from talented filmmakers like yourself!
